If you trade in the same phone to AT&T, you get $0 ...How often does Verizon have the $800 trade in any hone promotion? I've heard rumors that the current promotion will end on 6/2. I'm just wondering how often they have this type of promotion? The agent ASSURED me that my phone WOULD be worth $579.99 as long as there were no battery issues, screen cracks, or body damage. My phone was in great condition. I mailed it as per Verizon requirements, and today received an email that my phone was given a trade-in value of $21. An iPhone 6 isn't worth $400 nor is a 7 worth $500. The "up to $400" trade in promos are reserved for new lines and higher value phones being traded in. Inflated value on a 6 for upgrading is usually around $100. This sounds like a combination of not qualifying for a promotion / poor packing of the phone during shipment.08-09-2021 10:49 AM. OK, quick update. I got in touch with a rep from the trade in team. She confirmed the issue and did some work to issue a credit for current charges. And she also stated that the credit going forward would be applied. i.e. 800 dollars over 30 months. Fingers crossed in that this issue is fixed..
